What Causes Circular Hives Like Rashes On The Body?
I called my doctor to see her because i woke up to a circular rash of hives. She made me wait four days to see her and the. She told me i have shingles. She did not give me any treatment or advice. Said it was too late. Now they are turning black. What does that mean?

Hi.
As per your case history of shingles, my treatment advice is -
1. Treatment of shingles is best started in first 48 hours. After that only symptomatic treatment is given.
2. Don't worry. It will heal on its own.
3. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily.
4. Take NSAID like ibuprofen for pain and levocetrizine for itching if present.
