What Causes Cluster Of Bumps/blisters On The Back Of Neck?
My husband has a couple things going on right now. First a clusrer of bumps/blister looking things came up on lower part of back neck. No pain or oozing. Those started to heal but a new cluster came up just above in his hair line. Now he has a knot on the back of his neck that has grown a bit larger over past 3 days.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of cluster of bumps/blisters on the back of neck which occurs due to allergic reaction, bug bite, folliculitis, clogged pores of sebaceous glands of skin with dead bacteria, sleeplessness.
Need not to worry. You should wash back area of neck with neutrogena oil free. Wash these areas with mild soap and cold water twice a day , exfoliate your skin once a week , apply aloe vera gel and apply azelaic acid containing cream twice a day. Apply Adapalene gel once at night. Take antibiotic like azithromycin 500 mg. If condition doesn't improve in a month then consult dermatologist for proper evaluation. Doctor may prescribe hydroquinone cream , retinoids or recommend procedures like laser therapy and dermabrasion.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
