What Causes Clustered Pimples On The Shaft Of Penis And Tip?

Hi I just got back from a trip at a resort in cancun Mexico. I came back with some little pimples on the shaft and 1 on the tip. Some of these pimples are clustered together and it looks very similar to genital herpes. I was swimming in the pool and ocean almost all day for about four days. I also had unprotected sex as well as oral with a girl that I know. She s only had sex a with one guy who was her boyfriend. Im very concerned as to what this is and I hope someone can help me out.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

If the lesions are vesicular then it may be herpes progenitalis. If the lesions are whitish and tough, then it may be molluscum contagiosum.

Both the conditions should be treated by an expert dermatologist. So, do not waste the time and consult the dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilyas Patel, Dermatologist
