What Causes Cold And Tiredness?

20years old 152cm 55kg Symptoms: Cold a lot, Tired nearly all the time. Mum has trouble with cold too. Tired? Always thought it was attached to my depression&/anxiety, but I have that under control now (take esatalapram) and I sleep fine average 9 hours a night, maybe more. I exercise at least 2-3 times a week. I had low iron, but I fixed that with iron tablets. had bp tested a few times & is fine

Detailed answer:
If I am your physician, would like to ask few more information to give a good opinion like
1)What is your sex male or female ?
2)How long have you been experiencing these symptoms ?
3) Were these symptoms present before taking escitalopram?----as the drug itself can cause flu like symptoms, muscle weakness, fatigue.
4)Do you have any other associated symptoms ?
Also as your mom also suffers from cold intolerance,it makes me to think of decreased thyroid activity (familial hypothyroidism).
With the information provided here, I would suggest you to get evaluated by your local doctor with basic hemogram, thyroid function test (TSH level at least) to rule out anemia,hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) respectively and get treated accordingly.Hope I have answered your query.If any other questions, happy to answer you.Take care.
