hi my name is kaela and i have a 8 month old son who has sickel cell ss. he had to stay in the hospital for five days , we got out and 4 days later he gets fevers every morning between 4 - 6 am . his head and shest area be hot but his hands and feet are so cold . i was wonderin if you could tell me why
Children tend to have hotter central areas like head and abdomen and colder extremities comparatively. I would suggest you to check the fever using a thermometer, either in the arm pit or oral or in ear. Only if the fever is shown in the thermometer than label it as fever otherwise you can pass it off.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
