What Causes Cold Menthol Sensation Above Eyes After Eating Chocolates And Sweets?

Every time I eat chocolate or sweets I get a cold menthol sensation above and around the left side of my left eye. After I m done eating the feeling goes away. Is this a sign of something dangerous? I don t have high blood pressure or any complications. Thanks.

You didn't mention your age and sex. I don't think it is at all dangerous. it seems that you might have pleasure effect when eating chocolates and while eating them you have such sensation. As there is no connection directly between mouth and eye it is not problematic. however for assurance you should go to doctor once and preferably eat chocolate in front of doctor and examine yourself.
