What Causes Cold Sensation And Numbness In The Feet?

I am a diabetic with type 2 for about 12 years. I am 82 and seem to control my blood sugar in the range of 90 to 130 on a fasted time period. For the past 6 mos I have experienced cold feet with some numbness. My doctor has not responded with a treatment. What can I do to help? For the past yr I have averaged over 3 miles of walking per day. What can I do to help with my cold feet?

Cold and numbness in the feet may be due to peripheral neuropathy or radiculopathy with root compression or infection etc.
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Use B12 tablets, use tablet Pregabalin once daily for five days.
If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
