What Causes Cold Sensation In Leg Post Titanium Insertion In Leg?
I have some titanium in my leg from recently breaking my femur. I am currently working outside and my leg is getting cold - and with that the limp I d almost lost has become more pronounced again. I ve recently bought some heat patches but have since read they re only for backs/necks - and shouldn;t be used on scar tissue. I have a 7 inch scar on my thigh. Any ideas??

You should not use these heat patches on scar for sure. As then there can be chances of wound opening. But you can apply on other part of the thigh. Also you can apply hot water fomentation on the thigh. Cold temperature can cause pain and heaviness in the thigh and you should avoid very cool weather. If pain is very severe than you can take Brufen tablet. You should not massage on the operated site with any cream as this can increase stiffness.
