What Causes Cold Sensation In Nose After A Rhinoplasty?
Hello! I had my secondary open rhinoplasty procedure 6 days ago. Yesterday the tip of my nose started feeling ice cold. Also, when I breathe in, the air feels very cold. Could this be because of some sort of disruption in the blood vessels? Is this normal?
Hair in the nostrils keep the incoming warm. Due to surgery they might have bee damaged. It takes some time to get functions back to normal. Constriction of blood vessel at the tip of nose might cause coldness but its not something to be worried for. until or unless it gets prolonged or becomes severe(with change in overlying skin color). In that case you need to seek medical assistance immediately from hospital.
