What Causes Cold Sensitivity After Taking Morphine And OxyContin?
My aunt has copd for past 12 years and it s getting worse. They put her on hospice but she s in her home. Hospice prescribed .25 ml oral morphine and 5 mg OxyContin when need for pain in lower back. She just had a mild shaking syndrome and said she was cold. It lasted about 5 minutes. Then she was hot. My question these drugs are new to her. Is it possible its side effects. She started taking them 2 wks ago Thank you for any assistance

It usually doesn't do that. Overwhelming diseases including infection and pneumonia or life-threatening COPD can do that.
