What Causes Conjunctivitis After Using Contact Lenses?
My son wears contact lenses all the time. This is his 3rd recurrence of conjunctivits in 2 mths. Swab results staph infection. Gram positive??? Not sure what that means... why does it keep coming back. He is 18. Perhaps he just didnt get rid of it the first time?? What hygene/lifestyle tips can u suggest to avoid recurrence. Thanks
you have cofirmed conjuctivitis but it is always associated with dry eye syndrome. prolonged use of contaclens prevent spread of tear film it causes dry eye and result in corneal errosion. so there should not be prolonged use and it must be removed at bed time. now you have to discontinue its use and specs can be used. for 15days. apply refresh eye teardrop 3times daily.
