What Causes Constant Ache In Side Of Head?

I am a 66 year old female - 8st12lbs and 5'4". I have Osteoporosis and have been told only by my GP that I am suffering from Fybromalgia. In 1987 six months after a hysterectomy I had a bug called Cocksackie B - so my tiredness and pains really started then - however I worked until 2003. Lately I have had a couple of bad flu like viruses and afterwards a very bad bout of fybromyalgia. What is bothering me now is in the last 3 weeks I have had this constant ache on the right side of my head which is worrying me! I did bang my head badly 3 years ago getting into a car - hit the door - I am concerned about this or could it be a rheumatic?.
