Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 67 year old female. I have always had a feeling of almost constant hunger. When I was younger it was not a problem and I did not experience any unusual weight gain until after menopause and the usual age related issues. I can remember my father complaining to my mother about it. I was fortunate enough to grow up eating enough food, lots of vegetables, fruits and meat. I was never undernourished. My son also experiences this. Are there any (I think obvious) hereditary conditions that would explain this and is there anything that can be done to control it? Diet or vitamins, etc.?
Read your query as you feel constant hungry it can be due to some reasons like improper diet or due to some medical conditions like thyroid or diabetes also . I will suggest you to consult dietician or physician for complete examination and evaluation . If needed go for complete hemogram .
