What Causes Constant Itching In Thumbs, Left Ring Finger, Shoulder, Sore Heel?
My thumbs inch like crazy throughout the day, especially the left one. I have also noticed inching on my left ring finger on the palm side. I often take off my ring two scratch it. I m right handed. I also noticed this morning that my thumb and first two fingers on left hand are numb off and on. They don t hurt, just itch. Plus on my right shoulder, there s a spot that itches all the time. I noticed that my right foot around the back of the heal is sore and hurts when I walk. Not the bottom of my foot, but the back of the heal. This started about on Sunday.
It seems to be an eczematous rash. I would recommend you to apply topical steroid like clobetasol propionate cream on the affected areas twice daily along with frequent and regular application of a moisturizing lotion on the entire body 2-3 times in a day. Also take antihistaminic like tablet cetrizine 10 mg once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
