Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
This is to request for assistance / diagnosis of a severe form of indigestion that i am presently suffering from. The ingestion is so acute, that i am constantly feeling nauseous and am sporadically belching/burping. However, i do not have an upset stomach. The constant belching is causing me difficulty in breathing and giving me sever chest pains. Furthermore, the lack of intake of relaxed breaths is making me exhausted. please advice.
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks.
Get it done ultrasound abdomen, upper GI endoscopy. Avoid lactose and gluten-containing food. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
