What Causes Constant Pain After Bilateral Salphingectomy?

i had bylateral salphinectomy in december, ive been in constant pain since, i had an implant today to shut down ovaries to see if this will help, but i think my consultant is grasping at straws saying the lining of my womb maybe growing inwards, or i may have nerve damaged why would this happen after surgery? and whos accountable i m suffering..

Hi,

Bilateral salpingectomy takes a longer time to heal especially in abdominal incision) so pain can last till healing 5 to 6 months. If pain lasts longer, it can be due to endometriosis developing at tube ligation point. Shutting down ovaries can stop progesterone secretion by ovary and stop pain due to endometriosis.
