What Causes Constant Pain In My Calf Muscles?

I have knee problems they are degenerate and have osteoarthritis and are worn down. My calf hurts very badly all the time at around two inches from the back inside of the lower leg. How do you know if you have a blood clot. I have to take Anacin at least 5 times a day. 2 of them. I also put Capazin on it. Please tell me if this is something serious.

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you may be having bilateral osteoarthritis of knee joint. Because osteoarthritis is serious one so it also radiates in calf. Its treatment is diacerine and glucosamine. Analgesic such as ibuprofen can be taken for pain relief. You are worried about blood clot. In case of clot sequezing of calf muscles will be painful. Venography of limb is helpful in diagnosis. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help you.
Wishing you a good health. Take care.
