i had my last menstruation on 25 aug. again i started to bleed on 15 Sept. Having no clue whether it is menstruation bleeding or just spotting, it lasted around 10 days. Then recently again on 4th october i am back to the spotting condition. When i have this problem i get severe head ache and mild pain around the waist. need Help.
Hi, Thanks for writing to us. Your symptoms are suggestive of hormone imbalance. In the current scenario, I would suggest a proper clinical evaluation by an expert. You need a sonogram of the pelvis, preferably in the trans-vaginal route. You also need a hormone profile. Such disturbances can occur with sudden weight changes, stress, polycystic ovarian disease, infections and use of certain medications. Local causes like erosion, polyp or infections should also be excluded. Further management can be planned accordingly. Hope this helps.
