What Causes Constant Stomach Pain In Morning Along With Losing Weight?

My 76 year old spouse has constant stomach pain especially in the morning. She is also losing some weight. Seven years ago she suffered with breast cancer. It has been determined to be cured at present. I am aware that gastro-intestinal problems are quite common. When should she see an internal specialists? Thank you!

HI
Thanks for posting your query .

I need to know since how long she is suffering from pain ?

Any symptom associated with weight loss should be considered serious . How much weight has she lost ?

Stomach pain could be due to Gastritis , Stones in Gall Bladder , Pancreatitis ( Inflammatory damage to pancreas ) , Cholecystitis ( Inflammatory damage to gall bladder ) Partial obstruction at stomach , Spread of cancer to stomach .

I advise you to get an Upper Gastro-intestinal endoscopy so that we will come to know what is the cause of her problem . It's better you consult a Gastroenterologist as soon as possible .

Any clarifications feel free to ask .
