What Causes Constant Stomach Pain?
I have an smaylese level of 174 and lipase of 134. Have stomach pains some days snd no vomiting.all imaging tests so far are normal have had eus 2 ct scans snd MRI all are normal.what do you think might be going on ? This has been going on for almost one year. Is this chronic pancreatitis? Some months my lipase levels are normal but my amylase is always elevated to about 170. Please advise

Yes this pain can be due to Chronic Pancreatitis or may be due to dysfunction of the sphincter of Oddi .
The best confirmatory test is MRCP and ERCP with visualization of the pancreatic duct.
The Sphincterotomy at ERCP can be diagnostic as well as therapeutic .
