Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been feeling tired lately for no reason ever since I was a junior in high school and that was 3 1/2 years ago. I have been through three different doctors and they can't find anything wrong with me. My mom knows that there is something wrong with me and she is almost thinking about taking me to Mass. General Hospital in Boston, Mass. She thinks they are over looking something and they haven't done every test on me. Is there any way you could guide me in the right direction of where I could go and what kind of doctor I should go to?
Hello and thank you for your question. I am sure your doctor has checked for the most common things like anemia and low thyroid. Other less obvious issues that can cause fatigue are mononucleosis, sleep apnea and depression. Talk to an internal medicine doctor about these possible diagnoses and see if they can help you figure out what is going on. Regards
