Hi, the past few days I have had constant watery discharge, completely clear, and doesn t smell at all, have to wear a pad constantly and feels like I ve peed myself at how wet it gets! I am currently on the implant and had a baby 7months ago incase these have anything to do with it?
Usually a vaginal discharge that is odorless, colorless and without any pain or burning sensation is harmless and should be ignored. However, as you are feeling too much discharge and feeling wetness due to that, there are chances that you might be having bacterial vaginosis, a common bacterial infection of vagina. Many women do not feel any other symptom of vaginal bacteriosis except excess discharge.
I would advise you to complete a course of Metronidazole antibiotic. Metronidazole 400 mg (Metrogyl) is to be taken thrice a day for 5 days. You may experience darkening of urine and nausea but they will stop after completing the course.
If you do not find decrease in discharge after 5 days, you need a physical examination by gynecologist.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you good health!
