Hello,
You are 60 years of age without any medical issue but you are experiencing wiggling of the toes. A sudden involuntary or spasmodic muscular movement of the toe or a spam or tremor may be due to nerve damage,
poor blood circulation, muscle irritation when you are neither hydrated nor replenish nutrients with meals.
Nutritional deficiency can also cause such symptoms, take vitamin B12 as a supplement or take food rich in vitamin B12 in your regular diet.
Nerve damage is caused by
peripheral neuropathy. Get connected to a
neurologist, get nerve conduction velocity tests, blood glucose (F/PP), CBC, imaging tests done to stay on the safer side. You will be accordingly treated if any nerve damage is detected. Controlling your blood pressure and blood glucose level by strict diet control can relieve much of the problem.
Foot massage to relieve tension and stress will effectively help to control the twitching.
Do regular stretching exercises to reduce twitching and cramping.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
