What Causes Constipation And Blood In Stools?

I have had chro ic constipation for a little over 4 months, no diarhea at all. My stomach is painful and bloated, I can go up to 8 days without a BM and when I do go I still feel full afterwards. My stool contains blood, enough blood to change the water in the toilet red..What could be wrong?

Blood in stool that indicate that bleeding from digestion system or infection condition.

In inflammation of colon called colitis that cause blood in stool.
In irritable bowel syndrom constipation with stomach pain present.

Blood in stool may present in anal fissure.
Infection in stomach cause gastritis. That cause stomach pain with blood in stool.

In peptic ulcer mostly h.pylori infection cause this type of problems.
Intestinal polyp may cause blood in stool.

Stool examination test is helpful for diagnosis.
Colonoscopy can done for further diagnosis.
Barium x ray helpful in diagnosis.
