i cough often and sometimes I throw up foam, or have mucus that won't come out, holding things in my throat. Tonight, I had, what looked like butter from movie popcorn, come up my throat and out of my nose as well. What could be causing this? i have the sensation of something lodged there most of the time, my pills get stuck in the same place. i have had an endoscopic exam, etc. I am told I have goiters...
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of constricted feeling in the throat which is very common problem after having meals due to gastroesophageal reflux disease. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to avoid spicy and heavy meal specially at night. Drink plenty of water. You should do moderate workout as well so loosen weight. You to take few preventive measures such as raise bed level on head side. Eat at least one hour before going to bet , take a light walk for 15-20 mins after every meal. Visit ENT specialist once if symptoms keeps on persisting. Get ECG done as well to monitor cardiac functions. You should take antacid after every meal like gelusil.
