General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
If sufficient dose of antibiotics are given, you can discuss with your doctor for increasing the dose of Femilon along with hemostatic like CVP Gynae to control the intermittent bleeding. Actually, Femilon can cause irregular bleeding pattern, so your doctor may change your contraceptive. Please follow the instructions given by your doctor after recheck.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
