What Causes Continuous Bleeding After Taking Ginette?
Hi my name Sikhonati, what I would really like to knw is that there are any chances of getting pregnant after using Ginette,Onother thing is that I normal bleed for five days now that I'm using these tables I hhave'nt stopped bleeding is that normal? I really need the baby I'm 22 yrs nw thanx!
Ginette will not stop you from becoming pregnant. Continuous bleeding could be due to an-ovulatory periods where the periods doesn't come regularly, instead there is gap of amenorrhoea and sudden shedding of your inner ling of womb causes this type of heavy and continuous bleeding. In such cases it is advisable to do an ultrasound to check the thickness of the inner womb lining and give progesterone support.
As you are keen on becoming pregnant, it is not advisable to go for cyclical contraceptive pills, which are also effective in such cases. Presently to stop bleeding I usually prescribe non-hormonal treatment like tranexamic acid, mefeneamic acid combination drugs which might stop bleeding in similar cases.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
