General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
You had sex on 6th day, which was in safe period (unless she had a short cycle of 20 days). So actually there was no need of taking the i-pill. i-Pill is a high hormonal content preparation, which seems to have caused strong hormonal imbalance, giving you the symptoms.
She needs to be examined & investigated to exclude other causes of hormonal imbalance & treated accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
