I ve has a continuous cough for two months and constantly bringing up phlegm. I ve been to the doctor and its not a chest infection, she asked me to try an inhaler and that doesn t seem to do anything either. I ve had a full blood test and all came back ok. Any ideas what it could be?

Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
A chronic cough with sputum should be evaluated.
I recommend the following.

1) Sputum examination for acid fast bacillus that is for tuberculosis.
2) Chest X ray
3) Plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration.
4) Avoid smoking.
You will be fine.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help.
Wish you a good health and speedy recovery.
Regards,
