Dear Doctor, My daughter 12 yr old. She had continuous dry cough for the past 12 days. Doctor prescribed antibiotics initially and was not working. Later they gave Azithromycin 200mg for the past 4 days and he told to continue for another 2 days. In the mean time because of dry cough there is heavy itching and inflammation in throat. Doctor prescribed gupisone 5 mg 3 tablet per day. Is it safe to take it.
