My mirena iud fell out the end of April. No bleeding until mid July, and since then it has been non stop. Bleeding had been bright red, then darker red for all of July and most of august. For the last part of august (and now the beginning of September) it has been consistently bright red blood and has been HEAVY. I go through 4 heavy pads a day. Cramping has been heavy and consistent. My GP took blood to test for anemia and pregnancy and it was normal and negative. I had cervical precancer in 2008, but have been normal since. I had a baby 10 months ago.
You had a baby 10 months ago. Your were on Mirena and it fell out at the end of April. You didn't have bleeding then but after 3 months you started bleeding heavy and non-stop. Your pregnancy test is negative and blood test for Hb% came normal. Continuous heavy bleeding may be indicative of hormonal imbalance, cervical polyp, uterine polyp, uterine fibroid, endometriosis, uterine adenomyosis, PID, pelvic inflammatory disease, bleeding disorder, cervical or endometrial cancer, etc.
You are suggested to get clinically examined by a gynecologist, get per vaginal examination and USG done to confirm there is no injury or uterine perforation. Get all required blood works, investigations, imaging tests, biopsy done to detect the pathology causing the symptoms so that treatment can be started at the earliest. Avoid any type of sexual activity for a couple of days. Stay away from addictions if any.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
