What Causes Continuous Vomiting For Almost Two Weeks?
For almost 2 weeks I have had constant vomiting. I have been in 2 ERs where they have done multiple test including 2 CT scans and gave me IV for dehydration. One Dr said I had a virus the other said minor pancreatitis but that I d be better in a couple of days. That was a week ago and I m still sick. Any ideas what could be causing this?
Constant nausea can be because of stress, depression, giddiness or motion sickness, here I want to rule out other most common infective or indigestive causes.
you may need some routine blood works,ESR,electrolytes, liver function tests and urinalysis.
You need some psychological assurance with anti emetics like tablet ondasetron 8 mg 3 or 4 times a day.
But no need to worry by the time you will be alright.
Consult your family physician for further help.
