I am type 2 diabetic 57 years old.. I have been vomiting most of the day..I ate chicken broth and have been monitoring my blood. I havent eaten much else and my sugar is up to 244..for the first time today..I just took my Ganuvia for the night what can I eat that is light but wont raise my sugar any more and is it true that the lack of food can also raise your sugar and what should i eat with out feeling sick..
dear many causes for continuous vomiting.lack of food may cause hypoglycemia in sugar patients with taking diabetic medicine, diabetic Ketoacidosis in patients with out taking medicine. may be diabetic gastroperisis may cause vomiting.
other causes like acute gastritis, cholecystitisappendicitis may present like this. use diabetic medicine regularly. regular exercise. if symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
