Hi, I have gone through your question. The contractions are associated with pain in the lower abdomen, then it may be the sign of preterm labour pains (labour pains before 37 weeks of gestation). I suggest you to consult your OBGYN specialist as soon as possible.
Even if the contractions are painless, but otherwise lower abdominal pain is present, then you need to be examined and investigated for urinary tract infection ad vaginal infection. These need to be treated at the earliest as they are also the reason for preterm labour.
Hope this answer your question.
Wishing you good health.
