What Causes Cough And Shortness Of Breath After Taking Amoxicillin?

I stopped smoking cannabis just over a fortnight ago, as i had small chest pains. I saw a doctor and they gave me amoxicylin. I am now coughing up brown mucus in the morning. I still have aches sometimes in my chest and occasionally a shortness of breath. I have no energy. Im tired after going for a walk and i used to walk everywhere. Is this normal and if so, how long could it last (including the lack of energy)?

cannot say in your particular case at all. Two possibilities are both highly likely and are total opposites:
1) you were given the amoxicillin for a lung infection and it isn't working and things are bad.
2) the lungs are healing up and are doing quite well and are getting rid of years of junk in the bottom as they are getting much better.
when reasonably, opposite conclusions can be drawn, more information is going to be needed.
