What Causes Cough, Bleeding Ear And Hearing Problem?
Hi, may I answer your health queries? my 11 yr old son has had a very bad cough for over a week, no conjestion or other signs of a cold. his right ear started bleeding, not alot, but he says he can t hear out of it now. Could the coughing burst his eardrum?

Here bleeding from ear present ....
So first consult ENTsurgeon for otoscopy examination ....
It will help in rule out ear drum perforation or otitis media like infection if present. ....
According to cause further treatment done like that of antibiotic and ear drops ....
Rinne and weber test done to classify hearing loss.
Excess cough usually not lead perforation of drum or infection.....
If cough more codein syrup can given if dry cough there ....
Take care ...
