Hi

I have gone through your query.

The symptoms you have mentioned sound like you might have a sinus infection or a sore throat. These can cause a colored sputum, runny nose, cough, and fever.

Usually, most doctors start with therapy or antibiotics to help with the symptoms. Getting a sputum culture can help diagnose the problem and suggest the best antibiotic for it as well.

Along with this, the following adjuvant therapy can help as well-
Steam inhalation
Warm showers
Warm salt water gargling
over the counter NSAIDs to help with the fever and the pain

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
