I m 39 weeks pregnant tomorrow , I coughed up a dime- nickel size blood clot a lot with my nose bleeding a little bit shortly after . I feel good no other symptoms , that I could tell . Should I be worried or this ok ? I still feel like have plenty of phlegm but nothing comes out anymore .

Hi, I have gone through your question. Coughing out blood and nose bleed may be due to excessive congestion in nose and throat due to hormonal effects of pregnancy. The progesterone hormone in pregnancy leads to congestion in body. Apart from this, you can have various other causes for this like throat infection, nasal polyp etc. I would suggest you to meet an ENT specialist to get a proper examination if you have such repeat episodes.
Hope your question is answered.
Wishing you good health.
