What Causes Cramps And Burning Sensation On Stomach?
I developped a pretty sever form of IBS a three years ago and I always had a nagging feeling it might have been from my laptop, because as soon as I placed it on my abdomen I developped the cramps and the burning. So in bed I started watching it on my chest with the thin across my chest, so there was very little surface area touching and it never seemed to bother me. Ten days ago, while I was watching a show my chest started to tickle, so I took off my laptop. I now have an incredibly painful burning across my chest that is seemingly unnaffected by painkillers such as advil and Ketorolac. Is it possible I have caused irreparable nerve damage?
You can also take digene gel or liquid or ulcero-protective agents like sucralfate or bismuth subsallicylate to reduce the burning sensation.
The definitive treatment is mainly depend on the underlying cause but you may take above symptomatic treatment meanwhile.
and if pain is not subsiding even after taking advil or ketorolac then you must see nearby physician for complete clinical examination with some relevant investigations.
Thanks and Regards,

What Causes Cramps And Burning Sensation On Stomach?
Hello, Welcome to HCM. It is quite unusual that you have developed cramps and burning over the abdomen and chest while you put laptop an abdomen and chest respectively. I do not think that putting laptop can cause all these symptoms. But you should take symptomatic treatment meanwhile like Antacids like h2 blockers (ranitidine) or proton pump inhibitors (pantoprazole or rabeprazole) will help to reduce excess acid production in stomach.
