My husband and I are trying to concieve. I am 9 days past ovulation and feeling very faint cramping (hoping they are implantation cramps) I am still 6 days from when I should start my period. I have taken 4 pregnancy tests due to being anxious but all have come up negative. Could I still be pregnant?
You are yet to have/miss your period. The urine pregnancy test will never give you reliable results before missing a period. These tests give reliable results about a week after missed period; earlier they may report false negative results. So you have performed futile exercise of performing 4 pregnancy tests 6 days and earlier before the date of your menses.
If you are so keen on knowing the status of pregnancy so early, you may get Beta hCG test done on your blood 10 days after the last unprotected sex. Since you are 9 days past ovulation, after about a couple of days, Beta hCG test can provide you reliable results.
Cramping need not be considered as any indication of pregnancy.
Anxiousness may delay the menses even in the absence of pregnancy. So please be composed.
I hope this helps you.
