What Causes Cramps In My Stomach During Pregnancy?

Hello, I am currently 37wks pregnant and have had mild contractions for the past 4days, however at my last appt. My doctor said it was normal and not to worry because i havent had my "show" yet. But recently as in ladt night and this morning I have been having menstral like cramps but often go away. When i walk my stomach gets hard and i get cramps again but when i sit back down they normally go away. Is it something i should call the doctor over or should i bring it up at my next appt which is in 2days?

hi,
I have gone through your query & understand your query.
In pregnancy after 24 weeks there are contractions of uterus without pain & they are normal. more so in 8th month, when the baby starts moving down in mother's pelvis.
* the contractions( cramps as you say), if painful, coming intermitantly with reduction in the time lag in two pains & rise in the intensity of pains- need immediate
attention
Thanks.
