What Causes Cramps, Light Periods With Spotting And Negative Pregnancy Test?

I have several signs of being pregnant I have taken several tests all negative. My full period was to start today and it's been very light and I never have had spotting but did for the past couple days. I've been very crampy and hurting for a couple weeks now. Could I still be pregnant?

HI ! Good afternoon. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.

If I were your doctor,l would have advised you for a serum HCG test and an ultrasound abdomen for pelvic organs to either confirm or exclude pregnancy as the case might be. If it is negative, and your periods are irregular, then you I would refer you to a gynaecologist to physically examine you and for further management.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in planning your treatment. Thanks for using the health care magic forum for your query on health. Wishing you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
