What Causes Cranky Behavior In 9 Month Old Child?
hello doc ma daughter is 9months old from last night around 4 she is having fever abt 10f i gave her babygestic ...she was fine had sound sleep .Wen she woke up her bbody temp was 97..but is very cranky she does ntastic want to have anything is this because of teeth.she is got two lower teeth .n within half hr she goes to sleep n just wants to have my feed .what can b d reason ???

Your daughter is having some infection , for which you need to give only Paracitamol syrup, in case her fever is more than 100 degree f, which can be repeated after 5-6 hours if required .If she does not have any other significant symptoms like (repeated vomitings/loose motions/poor feeding/excessive crying/fever beyond 104 degree f) and keeps taking your feeds properly,most likely her illness will settle in 5-7 days time.
Please keep feeding your baby as frequently as the baby demands.
If your baby keep taking your feed properly and shows signs of improvement ) in her fever and cranky behaviour in next few days 2-3),nothing more is required.
In case of any new or significant symptoms develops it will be wise to see a doctor.
