What Causes Creamy White Discharge With Itching In The Vagina?
I had a yeast infection for 2 weeks. Its gone but I thunk I possibly have low estrogen and maybe thats what caused the infection. When I wipe after urinating and after I take a shower I itch for about 10 minutes. I have a discharge thats creamy white still, with no odor. It hasnt stopped since the infection. I am not sure whats going on.
Hi, thanks for writing.. It is candidial infection of the vagina. Get a swab to detect fungal infection. If there is fungal infection, take a course of clotrimazole vaginal tablet. Treat the partner also. Keep the area dry. Use condom during intercourse till infection heals.. Treat your sexual partner also. Hope I have answered your query. Report suggests you may be still suffering from fungal infection. I suggest to take clotrimazole tablet 100 mg.It should be deeply inserted in the vagina at night before sleep for six consecutive nights. You should also maintain good personal hygiene. Perineal wash with lactobacillus extracts can also be done. If symptoms persists then you should consult your doctor.you may need further investigations.
