Last Thursday I went in for a routine deep tissue massage...nothing out of the ordinary happened until a few hours later I noticed crunching and crackling in my neck, moving it from side to side..like sand grinding around inside..no pain. Twisting it in a circle also makes the noise, very loudly. I dont know what to do, after ten years of massages I have never had this happen to me before...is this inflammation? I was in a car accident 12 years ago and wonder if this retriggered something...as my other joints like my wrists and knees are popping again, which also happened previously. Thanks.
