What Causes Crusting And Bleeding In Nostril With Chemical Smell During Winter?
My left nostril has been crusting and bleeding for about a year. It usually happens in the winter but then goes away. This year it hasnt gone away. Lately (about 1 week) I have a very unusual chemical smell in my nose. Do you know what this might be?
Hi, welcome to HCM, crusting and bleeding in winter is due to cold and dryness. Please apply vaseline/petroleum jelly inside three times a day for a week. This will take care of crusting and bleeding. If the foul smell does not go away, show an ENT doctor--regards
