I recently noticed a few of my fingernails are growing with a curve on the ends and decided to look this up. Much to my surprise, there are some serious illnesses associated with this condition. I do not have COPD or Emphysema and I am not sure what the other lung disease is but have had a CT scan of my lungs for the past two years (due to smoking for 34+ years) and they look good. I quit smoking 6.5 years ago and am 70 years of age now. So, what s up?
