What Causes Dark And Foul Smelling Menstrual Bleeding After Taking Clomid?

I started 1st cycle of clomid last month on day 3 of my cycle. I came on my period Friday, December 12th, but it was a dark smelly type of bleeding. On day 2 of my cycle it was bright red and then brownish again. Day 3 of my cycle there was hardly any bleeding and I began the 2nd cycle of clomid. Today, on the 4th day of my menstrual, no bleeding and this is day 2 of the clomid. Should I not take the 2nd day of clomid and consult my doctor? I have always had a period for 5 days. Could I be pregnant?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

You can continue taking clomid as it will not interfere with pregnancy in any way, and if at all you are not pregnant it will promote conception.

But yes, do consult your doctor and report the bleeding you experienced, but do not discontinue the intake of clomid.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
