What Causes Dark Brown Spots At The Center Of Chest Spreading Towards Nipple?

Hi i have dark brown spots in the center of my chest and its seems to be spreading undr my nipples and closer to my stomach. when i shower or finish showering i can scrape off little particals of the spots but that does not do anything to make it better. i am a male age 20 and these spots been with me since jr. high. pleas help me
