What Causes Dark Brown Vaginal Discharge And Abdominal Pain While On Nexplanon?
Ive had my nexplanon implant for little over a year, my periods stopped instantly. I haven't had spotting or any bleeding , discharge since. A week ago I had a small amount of bleeding that went away after a couple days, now I have a dark brown/black thick discharge. With stomach pain.

Nexplanon consists of long-acting progesterone. Which interferes with normal menstruation & ovulation to prevent conception.
Absent or irregular vaginal bleeding is a side effect of the hormone. So you have it. The periods would revert back to normal after withdrawing the contraceptive.
